They use the STAR method, as many companies do, but what is different is how they prepare you for it. They link to what their process is like and they offer explanations and question variants along the way. This makes it easier to feel comfortable and confident in the interview.

They asked 3 variations that all came down to understanding analytical thought process. "How would you approach xyz if under a time crunch?" "How would you feel about providing analysis that is contradictory to the expected results and how would you deliver the information?" Etc.

Interview
Internal Application for a Data Analyst 2/3 position. Had to contact the recruiter to determine the interviewers, which he did not respond. It was the first time that I had to wait in the lobby for an internal interview and then, the first interviewer was 15 minutes late, which delayed all of the other interviews. Good dynamics with the interviewers.
