I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Aug 2013
Interview
Lots of basic analog questions. Just get through them trying to analyze these. You may not be able to answer all of them but should be thinking in the right direction. Questions start from single transistor circuits to more complicated system level scenarios. They want you to answer most questions intuitively without detailed calculations.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions about system stability without actual pole zero analysis, and give intuitive justification.
Interview process will be total 4 technical rounds and separate hiring manager rounds. Here the interview is totally focused on basics and interface like AXI, AHB. Interviewers will Lead engineer in initial 2 rounds later once you cleared the first 2 rounds next rounds will be taken by staff level engineers
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Qualcomm (Noida) in Jan 2021
Interview
I was contacted through a Qualcomm recruiter on LinkedIn. My profile got shortlisted & I got a call for virtual teams interview with panel of 3-4 members. Whole process took 2 weeks to get the result.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic PnR flow questions were asked. One should have in-depth knowledge of MOS transistor level insight.
I had a very bad experience with one of the interviewer & to my shock he was the director of the team. He was asking about my caste / religion & ancestral background which was highly unprofessional. Really feel for the engineers working in such a company under such top level management.
Doesn't recommend anyone this company as first choice.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Jose, CA) in May 2016
Interview
Hiring manager set up the interview. Had a telephonic and got an onsite the next day. They asked me to fly in as soon as possible. Interview process was good with design questions, CDC, logic design etc. I got good reviews during the interview and I gave most of the answer correct.
After that there was no communication, and later on I heard that they had already sent an offer letter to someone else before they interviewed me. This was a complete waste of candidate's time and QC's money. I hope they at least provide the feedback to make it worth my travel.
