Interview
Spent first 5-10 minutes talking about the job, and asking if it seemed like something I would find interesting. Then asked some problems related to C programming and basic signal processing, as well as some operating systems concepts. Asked about familiarity with various communications protocols and standards. Very friendly on the phone. Little interest in my research background.

Interview
It was a mixture of both technical and behavioral interview. The interviewer was cordial and understanding. He helped me ease myself while giving the interview. He didn't put me in stress.

Q. How would you find the Expectation of two IID random variables.
It was a 4 steps interview over the phone. They asked basic questions in programming and digital communications + some fixed point algorithms. Then asked questions about my background and I presented them my research in grad school.

Meet with 5 engineers, Techincal questions, focus on wireless system deployment bugs. Real world experience. Some basic wireless systems / programming questions. Questions about the group, other groups, variety of projects.
