1st interview was a Teams call with the Creative Director getting an idea of my past experience and giving me information about the company.
2nd interview was on site. Involved a tour of the studio in Leeds, followed by a chat in a meeting room giving me a bunch more info about the project, and then finally an informal pub chat with directors and some artists in the team. Train travel and accommodation for the trip paid for by the company as well :)
Not many technical animation questions during the process as the company is currently trying to hire their first few animators. They shared so much about the project on the visit though: video clips, concept art, game mechanics, style - they give you everything you would need to know before joining. They want people in the office full-time which was fine for me, but may put others off who want remote work.
A really good interview experience - only turned it down because I got an offer to work on a dream project elsewhere.
