I applied online. I interviewed at Ricardo in Mar 2026
Interview
The recruitment process consists of four stages: an HR interview, a fairly straightforward deductive reasoning test, a presentation exercise, and a final interview. The HR team were excellent throughout: professional, efficient and genuinely pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, my experience during the third-stage interview was quite different. I found the interview rather flat and struggled to connect with the interviewers. The conversation felt somewhat uninspiring and, despite discussing technical topics, I did not come away with a particularly strong impression of the team or the work. In all honesty, that stage significantly reduced my enthusiasm for the role, which was a shame as my initial impressions of the company had been very positive
