Interviewed for an SF company that they acquired. Talked to a couple of people over the phone in Redmond. Totally cool people. Then I went to the office in SF. I spoke to three different people who had three different ideas of what the job entailed. I realized that, given the miscommunications going on, it was probably not going to work for me. The manager did apologize for the confusion. I did not get the job and was not surprised by that given that I told him that one of the guys I talked to had no business interviewing candidates. I will give five stars to their recruiter for at least telling me that I was not a good fit. I've been to other companies for live interviews and not been told a single word. At least I could move on. Also, I do not recall any irritating puzzle questions (which even Google doesn't do anymore) or requests to do an upside-down with sprinkles on top Towers of Hanoi (like Facebook does). So, they do ask you about your actual work.
