I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY) in May 2024
Interview
The interview process with Salesforce was great. Each person I spoke with was genuine in their responses to my questions. As someone who has been through various interview processes, Salesforce has by far one of the most streamlined and thought out programs.

Question 1
Q: How do you manage communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders?
Several different stages. Started with a culture interview with the hiring mgr, then did a take home quantitative task and had to make up a few slides and present them to a group, then a final chat with another senior person.

Why salesforce, why this role, break down how you'd approach a complex problem, etc
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Salesforce in Apr 2024
Interview
The interview process got off to a great start. I had a really positive chat with the manager, and they wasted no time in sending over a Case Study for me to tackle. When I mentioned I needed to speed things up due to a prior commitment, they were accommodating, which seemed like a good sign.
I hustled to get the case study done in record time so I could meet the interview deadline. But then, unexpectedly, they decided I wasn't eligible for sponsorship and called off the interview.
I get it, rules are rules. But it felt like they didn't give me a chance to explain my visa situation and offer a solution. I'd even spoken to immigration lawyers who said I was good to go.
I understand where they're coming from, but a bit of flexibility would've been appreciated, especially after putting in all that effort. It would've shown they respected my time and dedication.
