I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
The interview process consisted of 3 stages
Phone Screening
Face to Face meetings
Interview Panel
Folks in the interview panel were very professional and seemed to really like working at SalesForce
Interview focused more on skills / capabilities and white boarding solutions. Focus was not on riddles and puzzles.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: Describe your involvement in a sales cycle
Q: Thoughts on philanthropy
Q: Can you come into the office every day
after a scan with human resources I moved to the interview with future boss to see if our visions were aligned. it was a friendly chat and not technical. after some weeks HR called again to see I was rejected.
The interview process was structured and professional, starting with a recruiter call, followed by a technical assessment, then behavioral interviews with managers and a panel. Questions focused on experience, problem-solving, and cultural fit. Overall, clear communication and respectful interactions.

Question 1
Can you share an example of exceeding sales targets and how you achieved it?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Madrid) in Apr 2021
Interview
Interviewed with HR representative regarding expectations, job description, etc. Very nice chat and discussion. Interviewed with Hiring Manager regarding the role itself. After that interview it was decided I was not a good fit, but hearing the news through a phone call with feedback was really valuable. These days companies just sent an automated email, so even if this was not a successful process for me, I would recommend applying as the process was outstanding.
