I applied online. I interviewed at Sunpro Energies
Interview
I received an email with the following requests:
- Please share your marketing and business development experience.
- What knowledge do you have about our solar industry and related products?
- What specific skills do you possess that would make you a good fit for a marketing role in the clean energy sector?
- How would you generate leads and sales for the company and help develop the business?
- What is your long-term career plan?
It's concerning that top companies like Google don't ask impose such detailed assignments, but these companies do.
A more appropriate approach would be to request a portfolio to evaluate candidate's skill.
It’s unacceptable for companies to ask candidates for significant time investments and to give up their business ideas without offering compensation.

Interview
Bad, unprofessional and pretty disrespectful.
Was invited for an online interview, went into the online meeting early to wait - ended up waiting more than 10 minutes for the interviewer to 'arrive'.
When the interviewer came online, he said he had to take an important call - left me waiting in the online video call.
The interview process was pretty bad, interviewer did not switch his camera on and wasn't listening to my replies so I had to repeat myself many times.
The job scope seemed to change throughout the interview process as well. Overall a pretty unpleasant interview process and experience with the interviewer.
