      Stores Executive Intern Interview

      11 May 2012
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Apr 2012

      Interview

I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter the next day via email. We set up a phone interview where she asked me some basic behavioral questions. The next round was also a phone interview since I was out of the country-- everyone was very accommodating. This interview was with a Human Resources representative and it was five questions. This went well, and I was told the last round would be with the District Leader for the area in which I wanted to work. Again, all behavioral questions. This position is a training to be come a Store Executive, and I was told that Target expects to offer that position after the internship. When it came out during my last interview that I still have two more years of school before graduation, the process came to a grinding halt. But overall, the interview experience was a positive one, everyone I talked to seemed excited about their jobs and this job, and I would apply again in the future.
