I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Lafayette, IN) in May 2021
Interview
Short, few questions, high school degree, drug test, just general easy stuff. They will basically take anyone if they have open positions. I know it is more involved for a barista or other positions.
It's a recorded video interview, meaning they give you 6 questions and you have to record a video response for each question. You get three chances to record each video with up to three minutes to respond to each question.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you interested in the position and what knowledge or experience do you have?
It’s difficult to get an interview even if you answer the video survey questions right. If you do proceed to the next step they make it odd as if it’s a privilege to have gotten one.
The video interview was very easy. I did look up some things on reddit to get prepared in advance, but I needn't have. It was extremely straightforward. You have a few chances to practice and then record.
