I applied on the closing date for a temporary assistant position. I didn't hear back for a while but later got a phone call saying another position had come up, and asking me to interview. I answered some standard competency-based questions and gave my availability, then shadowed a staff member doing replenishment and tills for 10 minutes each and helped them out. The whole process lasted an hour.

Very busy at the moment but the interview was warm. It's obvious Customer services is no.1 for them. I think the interview was unusually short and shallow due to the Corona virus.
