I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Tesco (London, England)
Interview
Standard process of going into store and having a chat with the manager. Few questions that were to do with myself, the role and what I wanted to get out of it. Not too difficult
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Barry, Wales) in Oct 2023
Interview
Easy, 5 interview questions, questions about your personality and why you want the job. Ask you what hours you can work and what days / nights. Overall a good interview with straight forward questions

Question 1
Tell me a time where you have used your initiative
I had to take an online test to get into the interview process. I passed the online questions and was given a confirmation email saying someone will get in touch with me shortly. After that maybe two days later, after I'd given my details someone rang me and asked me what date would be suitable for an interview, we spoke for a short while he seemed pleasant enough. Then when the day came, I walked to the customer services and they got in touch with the man who was interviewing me. He took me to a room asked me some questions then asked what days I was available etc. After that he passed me onto a girl who worked as a stock assistant and she showed me around and what she would be doing. Then I was passed onto the tills/cashier to watch the process. I think I was expected to help but when I asked the customers no one really wanted any.
