Standard phone screen, and I proceeded to the next round. The following technical round consisted of solving a problem that you'd rarely encounter in a real world application. If you memorize answers to common interview questions, you'll probably do fine. At the end, the interviewer insisted it was "basic" even though I struggled since I do not have much experience (or interest) in solving interview-style questions that aren't pragmatic nor relevant to the actual role. Additionally, there were several times in the interview where it felt like they wanted me to read their minds in regards to implementation. Overall, it was not exactly a hard problem, but it was a really poor method of testing someone on their experience and knowledge.
