The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Two Sigma (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied online. Recruiter reached out followed by a call with the hiring manager. Then did hackerrank coding test with two questions, one about strings and one about disjoint sets. Afterwards I spoke to multiple people on the team which ended up being them telling me how bad the role was. E.g. there's a lot of grunt work are you ok with that? Very weird experience as I've never had interviewers try to convince me that the role is terrible. Anyways the recruiter arranged a time to call me, didn't call and ghosted me. Lol what a bizarre experience...
I applied through other source. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Two Sigma
Interview
I went through 13 interviews including a 5 hour project, on site meeting and was asked for a letter of recommendation. I was given zero transparency about the intricacies of the role but was pressed to give as much information as possible. Even after they asked for a letter of recommendation from a previous employer I was not extended an offer.

Question 1
Similar structure every time. Covering CV, hearing about interview's experience and then being asked from a list of questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Two Sigma (London, England) in Jan 2020
Interview
Very disorganized - HR double booked a timeslot, then told me the wrong day to come in for a 2nd round. Too many interviews and rounds, long drawn out hiring process takes months.
