      Financial Analyst Interview

      Pune
      No offer

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UBS (Pune) in Jun 2016

      Interview

Interview process consist of two rounds of technical interview, which was completed within span of a week's time and followed by an HR interview. In first round they ask me questions related to my previous work experience and skill set. Second round was more detailed round wherein technical questions were asked from each aspect of job description as well as some behavioral questions. Technical interview went smoothly. Finally there was an HR interview which happened after couple of days from second interview, wherein they informed me about the organisation structure, designation and discussed on my current and expected compensation and they informed me to wait for 3-4 days for them to get necessary approvals and subsequently release offer. Its been almost couple of weeks now but i am yet to receive any update from them and when i followed up with them they didn't even thought to reply back to my emails. I found this very strange and absurd behavior from HR that too of such a multi national organization. How can an HR team function in such an unprofessional manner with prospective employees. This not only created a bad impression but has also tarnish image of organisation in mind of candidate like me. I am not writing this review becoz they didn't give me offer, but wanted to highlight and make everyone aware of the unprofessional way HR is functioning in UBS India and if you come across similar situations, hopefully this should help you make a wise and informed decision for your future.

Numerical reasoning okay - situational test was strange and difficult. What got me was although I did well at both (you can see your results), they were very quick with the rejection.

      Interview

Our recruitment process involves several rounds of interviews designed to thoroughly assess both your technical knowledge and soft skills. Each stage is carefully structured to ensure we fully understand your qualifications, problem-solving abilities, and how you interact in different professional environments. Initial Screening: In the first round, we will evaluate your general qualifications, work experience, and relevant technical skills. This is often done through a phone interview or an online assessment. We focus on understanding your core competencies, your ability to perform key job functions, and how your skills align with our team’s needs. Technical Interview(s): Following the initial screening, you will be asked to participate in one or more technical interviews. These sessions aim to dive deeper into your subject matter expertise. You may be required to solve problems, demonstrate proficiency in tools or technologies, or provide solutions to real-world scenarios relevant to the role. Behavioral Interview: During this phase, we assess your soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, and leadership potential. Through situational and behavioral questions, we’ll look for how you handle challenges, work with others, and contribute to a positive work culture.
