The interview itself went well. Completed interview then about two weeks later I received a call with a job offer. During the interview process they had “quoted” me $23-$26 per hour due to what the market (other jobs) were paying for this position. When I got my job offer was told it would be around $18. I had to the recruiter that the interviewer has told me the $23-$26. The recruiter sighed and stated that “interviewers should not be disclosing that type of information” but she stated that she would reach out to the interviewers and let me know. A day later she reached out and let me know the job offer was retracted I asked why and was not given a reason. I asked for a follow up and never got a call back. Noted this job posting DID NOT have a salary range when I initially applied Overall, I feel like I dodged a bullet. I never had such a bad experience trying to get a follow up and a reason as to why it was retracted but I have a pretty good reason as to why. I never post any reviews, but I wanted to make my experience aware so hopefully this doesn’t happen to others trying to apply to this company
