The process started by applying online through the Whole Foods website. I was then contacted via email by HR to let me know my qualifications fit the job and the local manager would contact me if interested. The local manager then called to arrange a phone interview, during which I was asked basic questions like, "Why do you want to work at Whole Foods?" and "What do you think makes you a good fit for this job?" The manager also took some time to let me know what I could expect from the job to ensure this was what I was looking for before scheduling an in-person interview. The in-person was conducted by the regional marketing manager, the in-store marketing manager, and the in-store graphic artist. There was a thorough portfolio review followed by a Q&A session where they asked questions like, "What was your most challenging customer service moment?" and "Who is your role model?" After the discussion, I was taken to a different room in which I was given a 10-minute Illustrator test and a 10-minute hand drawing test. I was called in the following day to fill out background check information and answer a few questions with the store manager.
