I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Jersey City, NJ)
Interview
I was invited to interview for a Customer Service position at the soon-to-be opening Jersey City, New Jersey location via email on 11/1. The email was sent the very same morning the job fair was taking place. Knowing that I would not be able to attend due to previously schedule engagements, I called the store (as instructed in the email) to request to be phone interviewed. A team leader in the customer serice team answered the phone; when I explained I could not attend the fair but was still interested in being phone screened, he advised I call in at 1pm. So I did. I was phone interviewed by an Assistant Manager (I failed to collect his name during the screening); despite the completion of the screening, he advised I would still have to come in person to be interviewed. We agreed I can come in the following day at 12pm. Later during the day, I received a generic email instructing me not to attend the fair unless I was instructed to, as all customer service roles were filled. I called the following morning (the day I was scheduled to come in) to ensure I would be seen and to avoid taking the trip in vain. The individual who answered the phone the day prior confirmed I can still attend. Now, when I made it to the market, it was imparted to me that all the customer service positions had been filled already. A team leader in the production team was kind enough to interview me (and offered me a position paying $15.50). No member of the customer service team cared to apologize for the trouble, despite having been distantly introduced to me. This experience was so infuriating and I have never experienced anything like it. Not only has Whole Foods dodged me as a potential employee, they have also lost me as a customer. Shame on you!

I applied online. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Mississauga, ON)
Interview
Easy and very relaxed, made you feel comfortable and gave you time to think and reflect on how you're going to answer the questions. I had a very smooth interview process and gotten a call back the next day of getting the job. I would recommend applying here for your first time job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself? How did you handle a difficult situation at your previous place at work? Why did you leave your previous employment?
Company took over the store I was working at for almost ten years. Interviewer was very rude condescending and acted superior. They put a bad taste in my mouth and I decided not to move forward there.

Interview
Two people interviewed me. I was asked the standard questions. such as why Whole Foods Market. I had to confirm the schedule would be doable, and told them a little bit about myself. Overall, it felt easy. They said I was hired, then after I followed up for the on boarding process, ghosted me.
