I applied through other source. I interviewed at Wiser (London, England)
The initial interviews were good in terms of communication and response but then abruptly stopped with no explanations. Many extra steps were initially not mentioned as part of the process and added in after.
- The questions are very much tailored towards how hard you’re willing to work and that they have a “work hard play hard” culture. I was asked about how I feel about working long hours and how I cope with stress. It was very clear that this does come with rewards though.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wiser in Aug 2023
The initial interview was very friendly and welcoming. I was kept up to date with progress after the interview in a personalised email which made it feel that I was being taken seriously.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wiser
First interviewer was very personable and engaging, however the second interviewer (at second stage) came off very cold and blunt, which I found odd. Whilst I never formally joined the company, gauging by the consistent interview questions around working above and beyond, and navigating increasingly short timeframes, I quickly got the impression this is the kind of place which wouldn’t hesitate to overwork you… I also didn’t hear back after 2 interviews, which is never a great sign!
- Very standard questions, however they do seem to focus on how much of a tendency you have to prove yourself (Aka going above and beyond) and constantly working to tight timeframes. They may also quiz you on their company values (and which you’d find most difficult to achieve)

1 . Application. 2 . Interview with Consultant. 3 . Presentation. 4 . Final interview with the director. I was subject to discrimination during the application process and thus declined the internship offer I recieved.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Wiser (London, England) in Mar 2023
Very slow and unprofessional. Felt like I had to chase, wasted time and not serious about hiring. When I asked for feedback there was no response. Poor practice and unprofessionalism.
- Tell me about how you would speak to a large group engagingly?

By far the best interview process I have had. Everyone was so welcoming from the get go. I was flown out for the second interview and was given a full tour of the offices which are incredible. Truly changing the way we think about work.
- I was asked to complete two tasks; a brand analysis and a data analysis, similar to the type of work I would be doing on the job, and presented them to the team.

Despite the fact I wasn’t offered a role at Wiser, the whole experience has left a very positive taste in my mouth about their standing as a company. The clarity in the speed of communication, honesty and reasoning behind their decision-making were all like nothing I’d experienced in a process before, particularly at this level. Having a Director of People in CJ as well as someone like George on their Talent Team, who from top to bottom made every stage feel both warm and challenging has made not getting the role feel bittersweet, but also made me raise my standards as to what sort of establishment I want to work for moving forwards. I’ll be keeping an eye on Wiser, following not just their success but also any open vacancies they do post.

Very homely and relaxing. Was made to do 3 tasks for assessment center (writing, presentation and interview). Interview process was focused on finding out personality and drive rather than experience

After applying recieved a swift response from WISER's Talent Lead. We scheduled a 30 minute screening call, which led to a pleasant conversation. Next stage would have been with the Hiring Manager, then task and then talk with Founder.

4 stage interview (including deign task and presentation so be prepared) Initially i was so excited, i got on very well with the hiring manager at the first stage of the interview over zoom and was invited in for a f2f, for a tour of the building and to meet the team. Again, it went well. Now at the end of the interview i was told i had two choices either to work with them for a week paid or to work remotely on the task. Due to the fact that i was just finishing my current contract i opted for remote. After completing the task which btw is something of a live brief, I’m all for doing tasks but it very much seemed like something which they present to clients in order to redesign there websites (essentially your giving them free ideas, you be the judge of that!) Anyway I went to meet them again after completing the task was given a tour of the building AGAIN and before even presenting it felt like the process had ended. I had to chance for a response a few days later and for the feedback which was WRONG, there were suggestions of things within the feedback that i hadn’t done when i had. The entire process feels like an easy way for them to gain ideas in order to approach new clients, if you do the task make sure it’s within your terms.
