Workday Sr Associate Customer Support Analyst interview questions

I was asked typical screening questions. After wrapping up the interview the recruiter set the expectation that I would hear back by early next week. I waited until that following Friday and emailed for a follow up only to be told the manager decided to pursue a better suited candidate. Totally respect the final decision but didn't appreciate the recruiters communication and felt a little under appreciated after providing her additional portfolio work.
