I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Executive Insight.

I applied for an internship position at Executive Insight in Zurich. HR arranged a phone screen with me a month later. The phone call was more than often interrupted due to bad connection. I was told I would get feedback by the end of the week and I was explained about the rest of the process.
Motivated by the company’s good reputation, I worked very hard preparing for the next steps (case studies, company’s website, expertise and publications). After several phone calls that went unanswered and two emails, I only managed to get hold of the HR two weeks later and only then I got a negative response without any other feedback.
This doesn’t seem like a company that prides itself for respecting its people. In addition, very unprofessional to have connection problems during a phone interview which might cost an applicant’s opportunity. Finally, I didn’t get any feedback regarding the phone screen interview. I guess they need to reevaluate their values as this is completely hypocritical.
Lack of HR competency? Lack of HR staff? I wouldn’t know. Just a huge waste of time for me.
