Pros

Still pals with my gals (that no longer work there)

Cons

Read my previous review for the majority of the cons (titled: RUN) Just wanted to add a few more points after a year of reflection, and I unfortunately can no longer add to my previous review. The reviews that are positive are from current employees—because they are being requested to boost the GlassDoor reviews. Take that into consideration when you read these, and as a former employee who was asked to write positive reviews on the website and various platforms, I can confidently say it’s true. At any given point, there are about 15-20 young women (we had a middle aged man at one point and it didn’t go well) working their butts off to make this company seem like a big time operation and a positive place to be. The ones that stay have been brainwashed into thinking that this is the height of fashion, work is supposed to feel draining and demeaning, and it is normal for a CEO to change her mind 12 hour before a drop (or project). They form positive relationships (aka trauma bonding) and think the bad is okay because there is some good. IT IS NOT. If you choose to take a job here, take one for experience because every job after this is going to feel like heaven. Please take the negative reviews seriously. For your mental health and all that is good within you.

Pros

There really aren't any pros here, so save yourself the headache and avoid this company.

Cons

Workloads are too overwhelming. My entire experience with 12th Tribe was being constantly burnt out from having to keep up with tight deadlines and unrealistic demands. Management doesn’t support employees either, so if you’re having a really difficult time, don’t expect to get any help.

Pros

Developed a thicker skin from dealing with the terrible management.

Cons

- The culture at 12th Tribe is brutal and soul-crushing - Managers treat employees like worthless objects - Verbal abuse and humiliation are everyday occurrences - Being around such toxic management drains every bit of energy and hope This place wears you down and breaks you unless you build walls to protect yourself.

12th Tribe Response

We take all feedback seriously, even when it comes from individuals who have not been with the company in several years. However, I want to be transparent in saying that this review does not reflect the company we are today. Since that time, 12th Tribe has undergone significant growth and evolution. We've strengthened our leadership, improved internal structure, and built a culture rooted in accountability, creativity, and respect. Like many fast-growing businesses, we experienced growing pains in our earlier stages—often with limited resources and a young leadership team navigating the complexities of scaling. That said, the work we’ve done over the past few years has brought meaningful and lasting change. We now have a passionate, diverse, and experienced team who are building something truly special. I always encourage individuals to get a firsthand perspective by connecting with current team members or visiting our workspace. We're proud of the culture we’ve built—and continue to build every day. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective, even if it no longer reflects where we are or where we're going.
