Pros

ASOS is one of the nicest places I have worked. There is a genuinely collaborative culture, with passionate and engaged leadership, and a management committee that feels aligned around the future direction of the business. The company has executed an impressive profitability recovery and now feels well positioned for its next chapter of growth. The plan feels clear, credible and increasingly supported by visible green shoots. There has also been a positive shift in mindset, with the business bringing in strong new talent and creating more space for fresh thinking, pace and change. The office is beautiful, with excellent facilities, a subsidised canteen, generous staff discount, flexible benefits allowance and a hybrid working model that works well. Overall, ASOS is a business with real momentum. It has strong people, a clear plan and the potential to become truly great again.

Cons

Like many businesses going through transformation, it can feel a little chaotic at times. There is still work to do to simplify ways of working and embed a stronger operating rhythm. That said, the direction of travel is positive. The focus on AI, clearer business rhythms and a number of excellent new hires should help bring more structure, pace and consistency over time.
