The salary progression is not good

-Longer than average hours, avg about 50hrs per week. Not as bad as AI startups, but worse than some other tech companies -Sales org is a "boys club" -Feedback from VP's is almost always negative, even if you've done well expect the VPs to be mad. They're sharp and usually correct, but lean too far to the critical. Many I know are afraid to meet with the VPs, even for projects that are going well. However, team leads and local managers are much more amicable, and willing to shield you from a lot of this.

Work is not remote setup

Could be better work life balance, required 5 days in office

No flexible,hybrid or WFH working type for employees. Stricted with 8am-5pm

Seems like 1st shift competing with 2nd shift.

Management is misaligned from time to time

Your contributions will rarely be seen or valued a level or two above your direct manager. Management is not always forthcoming and honest about whey they are making organizational changes. Pay for SW Engineers is well below market. Engineering staff is composed of a few old timers who have been there for 20+ years who are often rude and hostile toward new Engineers because they know management will NEVER fire or even discipline them.
