I have been working at AllSaints Retail full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I've never worked anywhere where the senior leadership team care so passionately about the career development of the team. Life changing opportunities are openly available to anyone willing to do what it takes to own them. Inspirational leadership, leading from the front, encouraging all around them to "design think" and grow the business into something unique and amazing.

    Cons

Peak trade is tough! All that can be said is that it will set you up for anything in your career. Embrace the values of the business, review your own performance and development and the sky is the limit.

    Pros

    The uniform budget and discount

    Cons

Store management than do not add value beyond organizing a rota.

    Advice to Management

None, I am not a manager and I wouldn't presume.

I worked at AllSaints Retail part-time

    Pros

    Uniform allowance and discount..that's it.

    Cons

The worst management I have ever experienced in 4 years of working in retail. Head office do not seem bothered by employees wellbeing or happiness even after several complaints. They will use part-time contracts to work around giving employees benefits and just give a load of overtime instead of giving most employees full-time contracts. Not okay.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees.

I have been working at AllSaints Retail full-time

    Pros

I am responsible for the placement of the units by style and the formulation of the correct flow for store deliveries. I lead a team of four and together with the retail department I look after for the allocation of the merchandise in store. I cover cost and delivery negotiations, to ensure all the production items are consistent; we work closely with fabric research departments to oversee fabric approval and lab dip process and we ensure all units ordered are shipped on time and in full.

    Cons

My role covers the product life cycle from creation to sales. This involves follow ups with visual merchandising department to ensure the merchandise is displayed accordingly to the investment made. I am also responsible for raw materials orders: this involves regular travels to factories and vendors, in order to establish strong relationships and negotiate the best deal in term of cost and deliveries.

I worked at AllSaints Retail full-time

    Pros

    Strong brand identity, good product.

    Cons

No learning and development function, no focus on people, usually head office people leave in under two years as there is a lack of development offered and hostile, unpleasant working environment.

    Advice to Management

Look after your people better rather than just focusing on profits.

I love to be apart of such a strong team and working alongside the the amazing store manager, district manager and floor managers all creating a buzz in store each and every day!
