    I worked at Atos full-time

    Pros

Great place to work embedded within culture, help at hand to guide you on your career pathway. One team ethos is vibrant.

    Cons

Global organisation that is sometimes easy to get lost in.

I worked at Atos full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunities available for the taking, good support structure in place, partners were accessible,

    Cons

As with any consulting company you have to be prepared to relocate regularly and be flexible on where you work. It could be anywhere, which leaves you little control over your work life balance & personal life. Atos' reputation suffered massively with regards to the fitness to work programme that its healthcare division was providing for the DwP but I believe this was highly unfair as Atos was merely provisioning the scheme that the DwP created. Any vitriol should have been directed at DwP. Atos seemed to be a scapegoat. Atos is no longer involved in the provision of this scheme and this seems to be in response to safety concerns for their people and offices, which is commendable.

I have been working at Atos part-time

    Pros

Dynamic and acquisitive - like many companies your career at Atos is what you make it - strive to succeed and you probably will

    Cons

A financially astute company and so a lot of focus on KPI's and delivery to market expectations

I have been working at Atos full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Good people doing client work

    Cons

    No management support
    Little admin support

    Advice to Management

Cost cutting has gone too far and people want to leave who you want to keep. Salaries are OK for young joiners but not comparable to other companies.

    I worked at Atos full-time

    Pros

    Relaxed atmosphere in the office.

    Cons

    Very little progression opportunities
Sometimes focussed on the numbers too much (call times, wrap etc,) rather than actual customer experience.

I have been working at Atos full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you play the game and move around, you can do quite well. There are opportunities if you work hard, are flexible and move around.

    Cons

Fundamentally, Atos appears to be an outsourcing company. They win contracts, transfer employees and milk them dry.

  10. "Very agressive management style that starts at the top"

I have been working at Atos full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good salary, flexibility around working location, good brand in the market, some very strong talents within the organisation.

    Cons

The management style is very aggressive, which starts at the top and is copied behaviour throughout the organisation. Short term goals take high priority over long term strategy, leading to internal pressures and lack of long term thinking.

    Advice to Management

There wrong type of management style leads to the wrong type of managers being recruited/promoted. The leaders of Atos need to foster a safe environment for staff allowing them to express themselves which will ultimately lead to the success of the business
