I have been working at Bromford full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love working with the Bromford Team. I have met some amazing people, and some of whom have inspired me to be the best I can be. Yes, the wages are good, the extras, pensions and annual leave allowance you get are all important, however the job satisfaction is at the top! So much variety in this role. I have always had brilliant support from my colleagues and management, especially from my new localities manager (YOG). I look forward to what the future holds.

    Cons

The "no spoon feeding " is not always helpful. I can see why it's in place but the phrase is misconstrued sometimes and you can waste a lot of time trying to muddle your way through, when someone will already know the answer, they just aren't willing to share and use that phrase. Many hours have been wasted trying to find out answers and NC's value every minute of their day. For many people this could prevent them from wanting to ask for help. NCs decisions and gut feelings should be taken more seriously when it comes to the right homes for the right people. NC's have to chase repairs through the customer Service number and it can take 20-30mins to get through.

    Advice to Management

Trust NCs more - they know their patches better than anyone.

I have been working at Bromford full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very inclusive culture, great deal of trust from the start. One of my favourite statements at Bromford is "Work is something you do, not where you go"

    Cons

May be a little too much reliance on "self service" during induction process.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work and ensure the DNA continues

I worked at Bromford full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good working Facilities
    Fair salary
    Excellent holidays and benefits

    Cons

Another one of those companies that if Ur face fits you'll do ok......
Even after being verbally threatened by another member of staff I was told it would be investigated but I never heard anything else about it so I can only assume it was brushed under the carpet as the person in question was one of those faces that fits.
Every shop floor worker I met were real people, pity management let the side down.

    Advice to Management

If I thought for one minute they cared I would comment.

I have been working at Bromford full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Bromford treats everyone as equal and really respect the work they do for the customers.

    Cons

The pay structure does not always match the job role throughout the business. Some colleagues can perform the same job role/title in different teams and be paid a different wage.

    Advice to Management

Equal pay structure across the business for equal responsibilities.

I have been working at Bromford full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Secure rewarding role where I genuinely feel I am trusted to work without micro management being necessary.

    Cons

Distinct lack of some colleagues taking responsibility in their roles. Appears to be a buck passing environment and I,m not convinced the No Blame ethos is not meaning the same as I take no responsibility

    Advice to Management

Make all colleagues responsible within their individual roles, with encouragement when one goes beyond and help when its not going well
