    Pros

    Great working hours, flexibility, benefits and pension scheme.

    Cons

    Not much work for new development of applications, mainly maintenance and bugs. Most green field development is covered by contractors.

    Good name on the CV My team had half decent flexibility and were friendly enough (this doesn't reflect the entire company) Canteen

    Cons

    Still using dated systems Below average pay and poor bonuses Zero promotion aspects for driven individuals Very much a US company where decisions are made Hierarchical with this most senior simply based on number of years devoted to Chubb Terrible training Very tight on costs (no travel expected even if responsible for multiple overseas teams, and non existent cash for training) Elements of fear from the top Fairly high turnover from talent staff who don't feel fulfiled

    Cons

    Occasionally understaffed, our department hasn't hit their targets for almost 2 years now and instead of hirings more staff they have cut. Required to stay late on the last day of every month. Few opportunities in glasgow office for progression
