Pros

Wonderful and dedicated evaluation and program management staff.

Cons

I unfortunately cannot give specifics, but if you are interested in working for CRS, I would encourage you to ask some of the following questions. -Have you ever had any trouble paying staff on time? -How many employees have been working at CRS for over a year? -How many staff, on average, do you currently have on projects? -How is project invoicing handled? -What is your HR like? What policies and procedures are in place and can I see them? -How many days a week do the president and vice president work? How responsive are they to employee concerns? *If you see any red or orange flags, please listen to your gut.*

Pros

The morning after your last day of work.

Cons

Very limited benefits and vacation/sick leave. Must repay cost of continuing education training if you leave the company earlier than 12 months post-training. Required to sign a non-compete agreement stating that former employees are not able to work in the field for 365 days in the United States post employment. No infrastructure. Unreasonable workload. Unreasonable timelines for deliverables. Management states that want to hear from employees and encourages feedback. However, it's not true. There are no sustainable changes after sharing insights with management. No real retirement benefits. Only get retirement (IRA-SEP) when President gets retirement. He doesn't give himself any (he doesn't need to because he owns the company) so you are at a disadvantage. No resources to do job. Management tracks your email -when you open the emails and when you open attachments. No privacy. Worst mistake I made was working for this company. No opportunity for growth. Employees are extremely stressed.

All of the points noted in this review are untrue. Employees at our firm receive a very competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and vacation/sick leave. Our benefits, from a comparative analysis, are very competitive, and the SEP-IRA is paid out to all full-time employees on an annual basis and NOT at retirement. As of this writing, employees have received 12-15% of their salary as an employer contribution to their SEP-IRA (i.e. 12-15% in addition to their salary) since we began hiring full-time staff. This person did not work at our company for the 90 days required to become eligible for most benefits. This reviewer was employed at our company for a very short period of time, and we discovered quickly that they were not a good fit. Due to their short period of employment, they do not have the insight or perspective on our company's infrastructure that they claim to. Creative Research Solutions has been in business for nearly 11 years now with a solid reputation and we have solid resources to support our team, including a project management system, access to academic research databases, and company laptops, among others. As with any job, we occasionally need to work under a time crunch, but we make every effort to plan ahead to avoid these situations, including hiring and supporting an amazing team of talented evaluators. We offer numerous opportunities for growth, including professional development reimbursements, which no current or former employee has ever been asked to repay, and we continue to expand our clientele. For example, one employee was recently identified to lead a new, international, multi-site, large-scale project, which is a significant personal growth opportunity. Admittedly, this reviewer does represent a hiring error on our part, but we have since adjusted our candidate review processes and we hope that their reaction will not impede anyone from pursuing employment opportunities with us as they become available.

Pros

The clients are top tier and you get exposure to great nonprofits

Cons

Management is struggling to foster a healthily work environment. There’s serious communication issues from the top down. Several instances of blatant lies being told by management.
