Pros

That is a hard question right out of the gate. Let me think on that.

Cons

Run by an accountant who is completely out of touch with people. People rarely retire from this company. Employees are either laid off or seek other employment. Aecom acquires good companies and turns them to complete crap. I am legacy URS and we were acquired by AECOM only to find we were now expected to work under antiquated contracts with deplorable hourly rates. We had some clients in common but were forced to work under the AECOM agreements with these clients. Same clients we have had for decades, doing the same work and providing the same services, but at AECOM negotiated rates that are $30 less an hour than what we were doing the work for that client for as URS. This left some folks unable to continue work for that client who they had provided services for for decades. Then they want to know why we aren't as profitable on our team as we used to be. IT issues galore. AECOM doesn't have the properly trained personnel to handle a company if this size and keep the systems running. IT is outsourced to another country and all experienced IT folks were let go and replaced with cheap, inexperienced people.
