Pros
Overtime pay (straight pay), flexible work schedule when not in field, benefits aren’t terrible but much worse than public sector or tech companies. Most interactions with projects is through your manager.
Cons
the only way to get recognition or a raise is to threaten to quit. Management would rather punish lower level employees for not being billable than to work with them and encourage sharing hours.
