Pros

- nice people - good practice talking on phone/communication skills - good client service practice (only redeeming part of job) - Good benefits offered (health insurance, company started doing 401K)

Cons

- mundane work that anyone can do/glorified call center - managers guiding associates with no experience or idea how to manage employees - promotion based only on performance and not actually managerial skill - high turnover rates - individual performance is very driven by which area you work on (private equity, consulting, etc) and what team you're on - low salary - consistent hours in office 8am-8pm with more work to be done at home always - penalized for not responding to clients at all hours - bonus is based on things out of your control - can't express to management/HR how you feel without being pushed out of company - no standard practice toward firing (which happens abruptly)

Pros

Rapid Progression & Recognition: Performance is directly rewarded here. If you hit your goals and show drive, the path to promotion and career growth is transparent and fast. Strong Team Culture: The team energy is fantastic. Everyone is highly collaborative, supportive, and commercially minded, which makes for a great working environment. High Autonomy: From day one, you are given real ownership over your projects (like leading recruitment events, managing candidates, and driving partnerships), allowing you to grow your commercial skills rapidly.

Cons

High Velocity & Pressure: The work is very fast-paced with strict timelines and high-volume expectations. It is not a place where you can coast, and you need to be comfortable working under commercial pressure. Resilience is Key: Sourcing and recruiting require a great deal of resilience. You have to be comfortable with rejection and persistent in finding creative solutions to hit your targets.
