Pros

I actually just wanted to discuss the video review process i.e 60 seconds to answer a mixture of questions. Pro: It saves a lot of time and obviously weeds out a lot of poor candidates

Cons

Cons: I have to say, having just completed the video interview, that the usefulness of preparing for it is questionable from some angles. In my research online people emphasised the importance of preparation. Naturally I did plenty of preparation. But in the timespan allotted per question I found that literally no sooner had I barely scratched the surface of the question (I had a done an abundance of preparation beforehand) it was cutting me off and moving me on to the next unrelated question. The sum total of this interview style means that aside from making one or two decent points I - in all honesty - scarcely got the opportunity to tell them almost anything about myself. In fact a ten minute telephone conversation would've been somewhat more productive in my opinion. The company sounds great in all other respects, but it's just a shame that I didn't really even get the opportunity to tell them almost anything about myself. Like I say I completely understand why they do this but whether 30 second answers to fairly broad stroke questions are really that useful, I'm not so sure. Naturally I appreciate the opportunity but I was slightly disappointed.
