Pros
Stable & predictable work schedule, relaxed control on usage of time off, upbeat working environment, and healthy (fun) competition within your team.
Cons
Most associates start overnight and can take a LONG time to get a shift change to daytime hours. School accommodation schedules are difficult to achieve if your assigned shift is during the school week. My shift was M-Th and so was school. Changing my shift to later in the week was not allowed. You also cannot go negative in your time-off bank. I unfortunately got sick and went negative in my bank and was terminated since it violates Amazon's Attendance Policy. The work isn't fun... it's the equivalent of working on an assembly line. Just do the same thing over and over and over. That being said, it's great for people who don't have a drive for more complex work. Retention is terrible; 12 walk in and 11 walk out (within a month).
