Clearly defined and operational guiding principles - Amazon's leadership principles provide clear guidance on how we make decisions everyday. There are discussions and brainstorming but one knows what is valuable e.g. customer obsession 3. Exciting work - the type of work is super exciting. You can directly see a global impact of the work you're doing which is incredibly motivating
Cons
At times figuring out when to stop is the hardest thing. There's so much one can do about the work one is doing but it's upto a person to decide when to call it off a day and take some time out for personal life. Balancing work-life is the art that is difficult for those who haven't figured out.
