Pros

Working from home, great travel benefits (IF you can get them), bonding between employees (necessary because supervisors are clueless)

Cons

Managers have absolutely no idea how to do the actual job so they can't help with simple questions, performance metrics are constantly changing and you are held responsible for the company as a whole, not an individual. So if you do a great job for a client, but the next person screws up, if the client rates you personally as a 10 and the company as a 5, your score is counted as a 5.

Pros

They have fantastic pay for the position you're in, and they teach you interesting and engaging utility of modern technology mixed with legacy fundamentals. I've learned quite a bit while AmEx while getting paid more than fairly - I'd recommend a stretch here to whomever may be reading this!

Cons

The Company is huge, and at times it may take more than a little time to get recognized for your abilities and the growth you've had. There's a reason there is a "only way up is out" reputation exists for some enterprise companies...
