      Pros

      For a large international firm with over 17,000 people worldwide, Arup has a close culture and small-firm feel. After over 40 years in a half-dozen firms during that time, none, not one, comes close to the fulfillment of Arup.

      Cons

      None to speak of. No place is perfect for everyone, but uniformly, everyone is solid both professionally and personally.

      Pros

      Working at Arup was a great experience, surrounded by smart, motivated, and mission-driven peers.

      Cons

      This may have since improved, but at least previously, the America's region felt rather second-class compared to UK. Most/all senior leadership, even in the US, was British.

      great supervisor, lots of professional development opportunities

      Cons

      insane workload and expect you to be available for work 24/7. some teams are drowning and others have no resourcing. layoffs happen completely randomly and they lay off people who are 100 percent billable. profit share is bs and you get nothing as a junior member
