Pros
Fine if you have a good coach to protect you from the higher that doesn't know anything about your job Some paid time off, but you wouldn't be able to use it anymore since they are very low on staff. You can call off a lot before they do anything about it. Very hard to get fired, if you don't mess with the wrong person.
Cons
Higher management is clueless, doesn't know anything about technical aspect, they just follow outdated flowchart and if you're not in their "Perfect" world of follow their every demand they will be very displeasing, border line harass you into a passive aggressive kind of environment. I've seen a lot of my co-workers being treated very badly by the management and the only reason they didn't fire me is nobody want to work for them. Just to give an idea on a center that i see 20/25 employees, 4 of them went into burnout. They don't offer vacation, or very small vacation (max i could get was 3 days in a row) which is literally illegal in my province. Of course i would be able to get vacation but only if i fight for it with the law. If you do that they are even worse with you. Also if you work for them you're basically forcing you to only work for them (it's in their therm and agreement when you're hired). You're not allowed to be part time as the only time they will accept that is if you're going to study, which people were still forced to do 25/hours a week even when studying. The management is clueless about how to run the company. I've never seen an HR department so incompetent and i worked in restaurant before. They don't want to be bothered, seem to sleep all days and is very passive aggressive or hypocrite with you until the very end. At least in restaurant they are hypocrites without being passive aggressive. They add new devices to support without training nor does they take the time to advise you. Also you can guess that they don't pay for the extras they put on the line. The insurance they have (Manuvie) is the worse experience I've had with insurance. They take forever and often forget to give you the right documents so sometime you have to start over. You have no career opportunities. Also, the job itself is very taxing since it's a technical support job, but with way too much things to support.
