Pros
Four weeks vacation. Some of the folks are genuinely good people.
Cons
Atos/Eviden was once a respected name in the tech industry, but my experience over the past two years has been one disaster after another. What I was initially hired to do quickly became a completely different sales role, with little to no support. The company has gone through 6-7 CEOs in just three years, and its revenues have taken a nosedive. Customers are hesitant to sign new contracts due to the constant stream of negative news. Recently, management promoted three more individuals into leadership positions, all seeming ill-equipped to steer the company (Eviden a Subsidiary of Atos) in the right direction—yet another misstep that could be a final nail in the coffin. The focus seems to be on retaining highly paid management while cutting back on sales and delivery roles, resulting in too many chiefs and insufficient people to do the actual work. Many of the higher-ups at Atos/Eviden come from Accenture and are trying to run it as if it's Accenture, but in doing so, they are driving it into the ground. If you want to constantly worry about whether you'll be laid off tomorrow or when the company might close its doors for good, this is the place for you. On top of that, the benefits are a joke. The only thing they covered was $50 a month for a cell phone, and they recently cut that off as well. There’s no travel to see customers unless you’re willing to pay out of pocket, and there’s no reimbursement for meals, phone service, internet, gas, tolls, or anything else. When you do get laid off do not expect any sort of severance.
