Pros

Great friendships, crew atmosphere while on a trip is generally supportive and enjoyable, unlike the rest of the company.

Cons

Terrible support, no duty of care on top of a blame culture. Managers (sat in an office, never introduced themselves to us) and support teams always assume the worst of their employees, impactful decisions on our lives are made and poorly informed or presented in a better picture than actually is. Cabin aren't allowed to be illness discounted proportionally to the amount of time changes, different weather condition, poor sleep and crazy roostering, If blocked ears are discounted once in a year every other blocked ears crisis you have it will not count for justified sickness. Late to fulfill or never fulfilling in totally with agreements made. Not good for mental health, or health in generally. There aren't crew meals loaded on most flights, just the leftovers of passenger food, which means eating the same meal almost every flight. Pilots are treated differently which explains most's god complex, they're entitled to appropriate food loaded on for them, longer trips in many cases, better hotel rooms, extra discounts and lounges access at hotels that crew also stay in. Very unfair, passive-aggressive company.
