Onboarding was unclear, expectations weren’t well communicated, and design feedback was often inconsistent or contradictory depending on who you asked. -No meaningful neurodiversity awareness or inclusion. If you’re neurodiverse, or a junior who needs some coaching, be aware: the structure isn’t built for it. You’re expected to pick things up instantly — but penalised if you get something wrong. -Micromanagement paired with poor communication. Some managers review your work closely without giving constructive advice or enough time to apply it. Others give feedback that changes after approval, making it hard to meet expectations. - Small mistakes are exaggerated, while progress is overlooked. Despite improving, meeting deadlines, and applying feedback, probation became more about performance optics than development. -It felt like a decision had already been made. The final weeks suggested there may have been other internal reasons beyond my control. It didn’t feel like a place that invests in people long-term
