Pros
Corporate culture, low distance management, exposure to growth across different businesses, functions and locations
Cons
Not many cons per my experience, negative side was rather associated with GE (due to market turmoil and number of missteps at top management - pensions accruals, Alstom acquisition, etc.) carving out and selling down most of the businesses (except for healthcare, powergen and aviation)
