Pros

I honestly can't think of any

Cons

-Low salary -Even though you get "promoted" every year, your salary increase is pathetic, it's actually more of a symbollic gesture to give you a fake idea of progress - horrible people, micromanagement in a psychopathic way (and they enjoy doing it like that) and coleagues who work as spies -terrible facilities and environment in general. It's a lot like working in a call center and no room to scape for a brake (not even 5 minutes) and ai mean it -insane working hours, forget about having a personal life and get ready to get sick very often -get ready also to develop a coffee and sugar addiction

Pros

You get to work with an awesome, highly resilient group of local peers in the advisory practice. The KPMG brand still holds value, but the internal team dynamics have become incredibly fractured.

Cons

We have outsourced 80%+ of our Risk Advisory work, leaving onshore seniors with massive gaps in their experience. As a manager, I am stuck doing senior-level work because I typically have only one or zero local seniors or associates on my teams. The best leaders have already resigned because this model prevents actual management and mentoring. Also, it might take you 30+ years to become partner in Risk Advisory, if at all.
