Pros
The company gives you a lot of latitude, even at an entry level position. I was able to self-direct a lot of the projects I worked on during my internship, and I was involved in a lot of matters that an intern would rarely be involved in. The compensation was also really great for an internship in HR.
Cons
Communication was horrendous. I worked for an entity that was very clearly at the bottom of the group's food chain. Also I worked for them during a period that was very bad for business, and I was a part of a major reduction in force, which obviously hurt morale.
