Pros
Lockheed Martin is definitely a great company to work for in regards to a stable environment and being able to provide for yourself. As long as you are doing your job then you will have a job.
Cons
It is so easy to get stuck in a position and become over worked. I have been in the same position for 5 years and now feel over worked and under paid. The issue is not that there aren’t any other opportunities around the business, it’s that when you become a pivotal part of your program management will make moving around nearly impossible. So you just have to be sure you are vigilant about your career and always push for what you want to see.
