Pros
Flexible working and some great people within teams.
Cons
Unless you're a consultant then good luck! Those working hard supporting the business, are forgotten about. Career progression & promotions are non existent once they have filled their quota/hit their numbers. Year end review results are already decided so you're almost set up to fail. I've known colleagues to have been given the most ridiculous of reasons to not get promoted. So it's pot luck or in some cases, whether your face fits. Salaries are below what they should be and you'll be lucky to get a raise despite all the extra hours or work you take on! Micro management from most managers and some really don't have a back bone to stand up to decision makers. Lots of brown nosing by individuals to make them feel important. New employees are coming in at the same level on much higher salaries. They talk about honesty and transparency but there is none. They talk about a great culture. If you like what feels like an "old boys club" then good for you! So much disrespect thrown at more junior levels. Nothing changes. Hopefully things will turn around with the Jacobs merger but there's a lot to be done.
