People that you work with are motivated to push the product or make the sale. We are selling anything we can provide services for and perform well. Definitely a good place to learn about from people that have a lot of experience.
Cons
Its the frat house of the working world. If you like that kind of atmosphere great. If not Protiviti might not be for you. There is definitely the work hard play hard mentality. If you aren't the type of person to actively seek out opportunities to fit in and be recognized at the same time you could get the feeling of being left behind.
