Pros
I was hired into Teradata's marketing division at the end of 2014. I had actually had an offer for a different department earlier in the year but declined because it didn't seem like management had a clear path to where they were going. About six months later I got a call about another job in an area what seemed like it might have potential, so I took it. That turned out to be a mistake. About all I can say is that benefits were good and the people are good, but there was no clear product vision and everything started crashing around us. Eventually most of the management in the marketing division were let go and the division was sold and I became part of the buyer's company, ending my short tenure at Teradata. From what I can tell it looks like Teradata has a new CEO and are making better decisions but since I am no longer there I can't tell from the inside.
Cons
When I was in Teradata's marketing division there was no clear product vision. They also had heavy development processes even though they said they were "agile".
