Pros
Overall I feel positive about Vodafone as a company. There are great opportunities to network, develop your skills, and progress your career. Internal mobility is one of the biggest strengths — once you’re in, you can apply for roles across different teams, departments, and even countries. The benefits are good, the work itself is interesting, and a lot of your colleagues will be talented, supportive people. If you find the right team, it’s a genuinely great place to work.
Cons
The management is very inconsistent. Some managers are excellent but others do absolutely nothing, take credit for your work, and will squeeze as much out of you as possible to cover up their own lack of contribution. Part of the management layer is corrupt — people who have been here for 20+ years and are essentially untouchable. They’ll say one thing to your face and do the opposite behind the scenes. If you end up with a bad manager who is distant, doesn’t let you speak, or bullies you, there isn’t much accountability and unfortunately not a lot employees can do to set things right.
